Big Watt Digital Announces Appointment of Energy Infrastructure Veteran Keith Meyer as President

Big Watt Digital (“Big Watt” or the “Company”), an integrated power and digital-infrastructure platform that combines dedicated, behind-the-meter, grid-independent power generation, and digital infrastructure development, today announced the appointment of Keith Meyer as President. In this role, Meyer will oversee Big Watt’s growth strategy and capital markets initiatives. Big Watt continues to advance its development of data center projects with capacity of more than two gigawatts across three sites in Texas and South Dakota, with a 14-gigawatt pipeline across major markets. Meyer will help accelerate Big Watt’s mission of delivering grid independent speed to power by bringing together energy development expertise, capital markets experience and strategic partnerships.

Meyer’s appointment highlights Big Watt’s continued investment in the leadership capabilities required to execute at scale as demand for AI-ready infrastructure accelerates. With decades of experience developing complex energy projects, navigating regulatory environments, and engaging capital markets, Meyer will help guide the Company through its next phase of growth.

“Keith’s continued leadership reflects the depth of experience we’ve built at the top of this company,” said Alex Hern, Founder and Co-CEO of Big Watt Digital. “With a four-decade track record of developing mega-projects, and with a history of navigating capital markets and regulatory complexity, he is the right leader for Big Watt as we enter this next phase of growth.”

About Keith Meyer

Keith Meyer is a recognized energy infrastructure executive with more than 40 years of experience leading complex development projects, navigating regulatory environments and building strategic partnerships across the energy sector.

He previously served as President of Cheniere LNG, where he served as an original member of the Executive Committee and helped develop the Sabine Pass LNG terminal, the largest LNG terminal in the Western Hemisphere. Meyer later founded LNG America, focused on LNG distribution for maritime, transportation and high-horsepower applications. He subsequently served as President and CEO of the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation, where he led the Alaska LNG Project, including development of an approximately 800-mile pipeline, the North Slope gas processing facilities and liquefaction infrastructure.

“Demand for AI computing power creates opportunities for local communities and the nation but the demand for power of that magnitude can strain local grids,” said Meyer. “Big Watt Digital closes that gap. We’re built to deliver end-to-end digital infrastructure development coupled with on-site power generation behind the meter. I’m excited to lead Big Watt Digital as we accelerate our work with customers to deliver infrastructure that supports long-term growth.”
