Chattanooga-based publishing company now accepting manuscripts and offering workshops for aspiring and established writers
CHATTANOOGA, TN, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Media House of Curtis, a publishing and creative company based in Chattanooga, has officially launched and is now accepting submissions and manuscripts from writers ready to take the next step toward publishing their work.
Founded by Chattanooga-based award-winning author, photographer and entrepreneur Maylee Curtis, Media House of Curtis was created to provide writers with a personal and collaborative approach to publishing. As Founder and Creative Director, Curtis leads the creative vision of the company while building a space where writers can feel supported throughout the publishing process.
Curtis brings firsthand experience as a published author to the company. She is the author of the poetry collections Burnt Matches and Scattered Hallways, with Burnt Matches receiving a Literary Titan Award. Her own experiences navigating the publishing world helped inspire her to create a company where writers could receive guidance, creative support and a more personal publishing experience.
“I know how personal it is to hand someone something you’ve written and trust them with it,” Curtis said. “I created Media House of Curtis because I wanted writers to have a place where their work is treated like more than a product. Authors should feel involved, respected and proud of what we create together.”
Media House of Curtis offers publishing services designed to guide writers from manuscript to finished book, with a particular focus on poetry, short-form works and other creative projects. Authors receive guidance throughout the publishing process while maintaining ownership and creative involvement in their work.
In addition to publishing, Media House of Curtis offers workshops and educational opportunities for aspiring and established writers. Workshops cover topics such as submitting work to literary journals, understanding the publishing process, strengthening writing skills and navigating the business side of being a writer.
The company plans to continue expanding its workshops and creative opportunities, creating a community where writers can learn, connect and grow.
